D.P.S School, Abhaypura (Sandesh) is an ideal institution for ideal students. It is named after a meritorious & great writer Late Dhaneshwar Pd. Singh. This School runs & managed by the governing body, contains a group of professors & educationalist. It is co-educational Residential English medium secondary school.

The ‘D.P.S School, Abhaypura (Sandesh), Ara’ is running by “Light Trust” as per C.B.S.E Pattern. The school embodies some of good features of public school with emphasis of Indian culture and values without raising the cost of education. School Management has applied for approval of affiliation from C.B.S.E, Delhi and process is under consideration. Medium: The medium of instruction is English but some times teachers try to convince the matter in Hindi also to clear the sentences.

FROM PRINCIPAL’S PEN

I feel ecstatic and proud to depict few words on education. Great thinker Sukrat has said- “Education means the bringing out of the ideas of universal validity which are latent in the mind of every man”. Aristotle:-“Educated men are as much superior to uneducated as the living are to the dead”. M.L. Jacks:-“The World of tomorrow will be born from the school of today”. The Word-Education has come from the word “Educatum” it means “The Art of leading out the internal activities of a child”.

The present education system of India was introduced by the Britishers to serve their own needs. It is not suited to the needs of free India after independence urgent reforms are needed. My School has implemented so many reform plans as per C.B.S.E pattern and also Indian culture. D.P.S school is heading to make great contribution in the field of academic and holistic development of the school proper care is also be taken of the character of the students. Education will not mean only instructing the students. Bookish knowledge alone will not be stuffed in to their heads. Character building is the main aim students.

They will be tought to be sincere and honest in their work and co-coperate with others. Efforts will be made to develop them mentally morally, Physically and emotionally. All-round development of the personality of the individual students will be the chief aim of education in my school. “Game and sports and other (C.C.A) activities get a prominent place in my school”. Teacher are my hands without their help, I can’t do any things. They work heart and Soul for the totally development of the students. My office staffs also make the work honestly.

There is an alround expension of education these days. More and more school are being opened but I have joined this school because it is an exquisite alma-mater of Bhojpur District. It is simple but quite suitable for the need of students. Towards end I would like to say that “Discipline in my school is very strict”. I am administer my school not only by authority but also by love, Sympathy and affection.
